Homemade Magnetic stirplate for yeast starters. I am using a 2000ml flask, with a 2" stirbar. |
Interior of stirplate Made from 12vdc computer fan, power switch, 25 ohm rheostat, with 100ohm parallel resister. I used a 12 vdc power supply from an old toy. Two magnets attached to fan hub were removed from an old computer harddrive. Total cost 1 broken computer and $20.00 |

Grain Mill Hand crank Mill. Similar to a Corona. Purchased at thrift store for $4.00 Modified with 5 gallon water bottle hopper. Handle removed to accomodate drill drive. Custom box made to collect milled grain. |
